Modules

A module is a feature area you can switch on or off for a single project — for example Sentiment, Slack, or the registers. You manage them under Settings → Modules.

Open a project and go to Settings. The page is a single scrolling list of sections; the Modules section sits near the top. It shows a card for every registered module, each with the module’s name, a short description, an Enabled or Disabled badge, and a button to switch it.

Modules are on by default — a project that has never touched this screen has every module enabled.

Click Disable on a module’s card. To turn it back on, click Enable.

Switching a module off is designed to:

  • stop new processing for that module,
  • hide it from the sidebar, and
  • keep all existing data — nothing is deleted.

Re-enabling resumes processing from that point on; it doesn’t reach back over the gap on its own.

The toggle is recorded for every module, but Sentiment is the module where disabling currently has a visible effect. Turn Sentiment off and the project stops scoring the mood of incoming communications, and the Sentiment link disappears from the sidebar. Re-enable it, then run Backfill sentiment from the Operations page to score anything received while it was off.

Changing a module’s state needs project admin rights. By default these are held by the project’s lead roles — sponsor, PM, and co-owner — and by workspace admins, who have access to every project. Anyone with read access to the project can see the current module states (the sidebar relies on this to hide disabled modules).
