The Financials register lists financial documents the system has picked out of your project’s communications — invoices, payments, budget updates, change orders, commitments and forecasts — so the money items raised in email and other sources aren’t buried in someone’s inbox.

It records what was mentioned. It is not an accounting ledger and does not add anything up — there’s no project total or balance here.

Most financial documents arrive automatically. As the system classifies inbound communications (see Connecting your tools), any that look financial are extracted into this register. Until that happens the page shows an empty state.

You can also bring in your existing records by hand: select Import to paste or upload them, the same way you seed any other register during onboarding.

Each row shows what was extracted:
