Actions

The action register holds the assigned tasks ddx PMO picks out of your communications — things someone agreed to do. Actions also appear here when you import an existing list.

Open it from a project’s sidebar. The label may read Actions, Action items, or Tasks depending on the project’s methodology.

Each row lists the action’s title and description, its owner, a due date, and a status:

StatusMeaning
openRaised, not started
in progressBeing worked on
doneCompleted
cancelledNo longer needed

Expand a row to reach its assignment controls and relations, or follow Open detail for the evidence chain, notes, and full history.

The owner column shows who’s responsible. An action that came from a communication usually carries the owner’s name and email as written. When ddx PMO can match that email to a stakeholder, it shows the stakeholder’s name; if that stakeholder is linked to a person who signs in, the action also reaches their My work page.

To set the owner yourself, expand a row and use the Assign panel to pick a stakeholder, or Unassign to clear it. A manually assigned owner is marked pinned and won’t be overwritten by automatic matching.

The register opens on Current, showing the live head of each action; superseded versions and duplicates are grouped underneath, so expand a row to see its history. Switch to All to list every version, and tick Show archived to include archived ones.

Use Import to bring an existing action list in from a table or pasted text (Markdown, CSV, or copied spreadsheet rows). ddx PMO maps your columns to fields such as title, owner, owner email, due date, status, and notes, and lets you correct the mapping before committing. See Import your data for the full flow.

For working through actions assigned to you and marking them done, use the My actions filter here or your My work page. When an inbound email looks like it completed an action, ddx PMO flags a done? suggestion on the row — one click confirms it or dismisses it.
