Chat is a per-project assistant you can ask about everything ddx PMO has captured for the project — and use to make corrections to your registers in plain language. Open it from the project sidebar.
Asking questions
Section titled “Asking questions”Type a question in plain English and the assistant answers from the project’s classified corpus — the items already sorted into your registers (risks, issues, decisions, action items, stakeholders, financial documents), plus meeting notes, topics, and the synthesised project documents. It can search the whole knowledge base, including archived and superseded items, not just the most recent entries.
Examples of what to ask:
- “What are the open risks right now?”
- “Who is the architect on this project?”
- “What was decided in the last steering meeting?”
- “What’s in the latest charter?”
The assistant is told to answer only from real project records and to say it has no record rather than guess. Like any assistant, treat its answers as a starting point and check the underlying record when it matters.
Making changes
Section titled “Making changes”You can also correct project data just by describing the change — for example “Cathy is a supplier, not a stakeholder” or “Mark the access risk as closed”. Changes happen in one of two ways:
- Direct change. When your instruction is specific and unambiguous, the assistant makes the change straight away. A green banner under its reply lists exactly what changed.
- Proposed change. When the request is ambiguous, destructive, or phrased as a question, the assistant shows a card with Confirm, Suggest otherwise, and Cancel. Nothing changes until you click Confirm. Choose Suggest otherwise to give more direction, or Cancel to dismiss it.
The assistant is instructed to always propose deletes for confirmation rather than delete a record outright, so in practice a delete should arrive as a card you confirm.
Every change is recorded in the audit log against your user account, and the assistant acts with your own access to the project.
When the assistant deletes a record, the change banner can show an Undo button. Undo recreates the deleted stakeholder; for other register kinds it isn’t yet wired up and tells you to restore from the audit log instead. Undo is only available for deletes you make in the current session — edits (field changes) aren’t undoable this way, so change them back by asking again or editing the record directly.
Conversations
Section titled “Conversations”Conversations are saved automatically and listed on the left. Pick one to pick up where you left off, rename it, delete it, or start a new one. Old conversations show what was changed, but their Confirm and Undo buttons are only live during the session that produced them.
